Two Different Ways to Configure the Wavlink AC1200

As soon as you have the Wavlink extender, you can choose from three different setup methods. The following are the setup steps for the WiFi app, web, and WPS. You can choose any of those, but if you want to use the first one, your existing router needs to have the WPS button. If not, you will have to choose different ways to do the same thing with the Wavlink AC1200 setup. Let's start with the web-based method, which involves opening the setup window on your mobile device or laptop.

First, type the extender's IP address or web address into the search engine and hit Enter to get to the login page. On that page, enter the extender's login credentials, initially using the default settings. Choose the network from the list of wireless networks and expand it after providing its password in the designated space. Make the most of them because the device screen will guide you through the process until it is finished. However, you can follow the same steps on your smartphone after downloading the Wavlink WiFi app.
